Benefit: Best internal cost was budgeted at £148k. Project was completed on time at |
|||
|
£76k making a £72k saving. Payback on consulting investment was an 800% return. |

Objective: This company wanted to potentially change acquisition method for equity |
|||
|
release. |

Our role: To identify and negotiate with market supplier for best short and long term |
|||
|
cost management. |

Our Role: Review current acquisition method and policy, identify a shortlist of |
|||||
|
suppliers, review in depth service offered by short-listed suppliers, work with internal |
|||||
|
resource to select new supplier. |

|
Benefit: £43k p.a. forecast vehicle rental reduction. |

Follow-up: Consultancy support has been provided to this client on two further |

Objective: This company operating 700 company cars wanted to roll out an |

Our Role: Analyse operating cost of company cars and implement a cost-neutral |

cash in lieu of cars scheme. This had to be with reference to internal fleet & HR |
|||||
|
function. Review and redraft policy document. |
|||||

Benefit: Effective policy offering driver’s tax liability reduction on car and fuel. |

5. SME |
||||
|
|
Objective: This was a fast-growth IT company with 54 cars and no cohesive car |
||||
|
|
policy or controls in place. Objective was to reduce cost and implement controls. |
||||
|
|
|
Our Role: Provide an immediate professional resource to compliment the financial & |
|||
|
|
operations manager. Manage out surplus cars, phase out company cars with |
||||
|
|
|
introduction of equitable allowance policy, advise employees and provide individuals |
|||
|
|
with tax calculations, write new car/allowance policy |
||||
|
Benefit: £120k with fleet size and average vehicle cost reduction inclusive of a £10k |
|||||
|
reduction made on day-1 with a supplier early termination negotiation. |
